The Orson Hopper Pro 2 hiking tent is a lightweight Ripstop Silnylon 2-person tent, ideal for 3 seasons. Designed to be spacious, easy to use and carry, and handle New Zealand's weather and terrain, making your next outdoor trip great. A popular model since 2016, known for its low weight, small packed size, and performance. The latest Hopper Pro 2 comes with multiple upgrades, including YKK zips, high-viz zipper pulls, and linelocs, along with easy-to-use pole clips and added pole clips to enhance stability, and redesigned storage pockets.
The Hopper Pro 2 tent offers easy access with double entrances and good-sized vestibules for gear storage. The design includes a roof spreader bar to optimize internal space with near-vertical walls for a spacious interior. Inner storage pockets and a free gear loft are also included. The 20D Ripstop Silnylon fabric has a waterproof PU3000mm coating, and the 40D floor has a waterproof PU5000mm rating to handle New Zealand conditions.
This freestanding, easy-to-pitch tent features shock-corded aluminum poles and easy-to-use Korean pole clips. Ventilation can be adjusted from inside the tent with inner zip access to open or close the two side vents and vent struts at the top of the door zips for added ventilation if needed.
A Hopper 2 Groundsheet is available as an optional extra for more floor protection and greater waterproofing. The tent can also be set up with only the fly or fly first in wet conditions using the groundsheet.
