This is the Yamashita EGI-OH Live Deep Squid Jig 3.5. You can choose from a wide variety of well proven squid catching colours giving you the best possible look and feel for squid jigging. These jigs are ideal for day or night fishing sessions.
The Yamashita EGI-OH Live Deep Squid Jigs come with 490Glow Eyes. Research has found that the most visible wavelength for squid is 490nm, leading to the latest 490Glow range developed by Yamashita.
'Tactywarm' is another Yamashita development also refered to as 'warm jacket'. The technology absorbs light from sunlight, torchlight, lamps at the wharf etc. and converts it into stored thermo energy that’s about +0.5 to 1 degree centigrade higher than the surrounding water. This mimics baitfish, which are also slightly warmer; squid can detect this, so grab the jigs more readily and hold on harder.
On top of these groundbreaking lure technologies the Yamashita EGI-OH Live Deep Squid Jigs have specially shaped and weighted chin weights create the best darting, swimming action and precise sinkrate options. The shallow series feature slow sinking to maximise opportunity for a strike.
