The Yamashita EGI OH K Squid Jig allows anglers to target the very cautious squid. The EGI OH K was developed to minimse the effects of external factors such as wind and waves ensuring a stable fall in rougher conditions. It has a minimal darting action for targeting those cautious squids.
The most important feature of the Yamashita EGI OH K Squid Jig is the 'HYDRO FIN'. The Fin at the rear of the jig is attached for improved stability when sinking. 'HYDRO FIN' acts like a ship's rudder. Low activity squid dislike lures and jigs with a unstable sink. Under rough conditions with strong wind and high waves, squid jigs sink unstably. EGI-OH K with 'HYDRO FIN' specialise in a having a stable sink allowing you to target squid in any conditions.
'HYDRO EYES' have flat eyes with Keimura pupil and 490Glow edge. This gives the EGI OH a realistic but noticeable look for attracting squid.
The Yamashita EGI OH K Squid Jig also includes a 'Warm Jacket' thermo storage cloth for turning light into heat. It slightly warms the jig compared to surrounding water making it a more realistic creature for attracting squid.
The Hydro body and sinker allow the jig to fall smoothly while providing the option to add or reduce weight.
