Product Description
FULL FORCE FROM SHIMANO
Built to meet all demands the Shimano Forcemaster 9000 A Electric Reel is now a formidable force within the electric reel marking here in New Zealand! Shimano built the new Forcemaster 9000 to be versatile and to meet the needs of anglers deep-dropping for bottom fish or flying kites in South Florida for sailfish and other pelagics. Packed with 25kg of drag to provide the power needed under immense loads, the Forcemaster 9000 incorporates Shimano’s Heat Free System II to reduce the reel’s internal temperature when fighting big fish, allowing anglers to focus on what matters most — not exhausting themselves winching on a reel. And with winding speeds of 153 yards per minute, anglers can quickly crank in bottom rigs or reel in kites to change out baits with the speed needed when it matters most during a hot bite. The Forcemaster 9000 also pairs perfectly with a full series of deep drop rods from Shimano, ultimately creating a full system to enhance performance when targeting deep-water species.
LCD On-Screen Display
Large LCD Display with on-screen information such as program, lineout, power and other relevant information. The importance of a clean LCD display is underestimated until you are fishing in 300m+ water in the hot sunshine. Fine Dot LCD Display provides ultra-clear resolution in full sunlight.
HAGANE Body
HAGANE Body means this reel has high rigidity and zero twist. The body stiffness and impact resistance virtually eliminate body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.
Shielded Anti-Reverse Bearings
These bearings have been through the same process as the A-RB bearings, but feature shields on both sides of the bearings that reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings' rotation.
Super Free
The Super Free bearing-supported pinion gear system (SF) was designed to eliminate friction on the spool shaft during the cast. In standard baitcasting reels, when the clutch bar is pressed down, the pinion gear is freed and can actually drag on the spool shaft, creating friction and limiting the length of the cast. With SF, the pinion gear is supported by a ball bearing and when the clutch is disengaged the pinion hear and spool shaft are kept in precise alignment. The result is zero friction on the spool shaft for increased free spool.
