Product Description
A SOLID ALLROUNDER
The Corvalus 400 Overhead reel is everything you could possibly want for slow jigging or bottom bashing when dropping a ledger rig. Ideal for kiwi fishermen as a lightweight overhead boat set up designed for chasing snapper and other bottom-feeding fish around New Zealand. Also commonly used as a trolling reel for Kahawai, or Skipjack Tuna this reel is a real option for the guy who wants to do a bit of everything.
It has a die-cast aluminium frame, aluminium side plates and spool, 3 A-RB bearings and 1 stainless steel roller bearing, non-disengaging level wind and a quick takedown system for easy servicing. The gear ratio is 5.2:1, which suits most fishing applications, and the Variable Brake System (VBS) sweetly controls casts and prevents backlashes. Perfetly matched with the Shimano Aquatip rod range this makes a well price pointed boat combo that has the ability to tackle anything you need it to!
