Recently purchased this reel. I was recommended this from one of the team members at Land & Sea. This reel is reduced in weight, has very smooth rotation, and high response that allows the reel to spin freely. Since Daiwa reduced the weight of the rotor, spool and the bail arm a lighter rotation is achieved. This allows me to feel the true joy easy function! Awesome reel.
