The secret of these scissors lies in the combination of a notched blade that prevents the braid from skidding, and a smooth counter blade that shears even a very small length of the relaxed braid. And all this with one hand. So certainly, these scissors are more expensive than the stainless steel braid cuts that you will find elsewhere but believe us, they are worth it.
