THE ROD - Primal Revel 9ft #5 Weight Rod
The Primal Revel provides endless good times on the water. With a stealth olive finish and high-end componentry, this is a rod that should cost more than it does.

- ULTRALIGHT HELICAL CORE - We start with our UHC technology of an ultra-light helical core to support hoop strength and stabilise the blank in flex
- AMPLIFIED NANO RESIN - This is overlaid with high modulus fibres reinforced with our amplified nano resin which reinforces the blank without dampening the graphite fibres
- LOW MASS SCRIM - Primal’s low mass scrim technology maximises hoop strength without dampening the rod via adding additional weight like traditional glass scrims
- LONGITUDINAL FIBRE ALIGNMENT - At Primal we use custom off axis prepregs that, when rolled, ensure the important longitudinal fibres are aligned along the length of the blank. The result is more feel, improved energy flow throughout the cast and lightning quick recovery rates
- CODURA ROD TRAVEL TUBE - With carry strap and cloth rod bag.

THE REEL - Waterworks Lamson Liquid 7+/- Reel
Let’s face it, die-cast reels are intended to be low-cost alternatives to machined reels, right? Imported. Heavier. Easier to damage. Plain Jane. Well . . . not anymore. When creating Liquid, we focused purely on the virtues and advantages a pressure-cast process can offer. Structurally, you can do things with casting that you can’t machine: Full-radius compound curves. Near zero-radius inside corners. And for a precision fit and finish, we even go back and machine the cast part in critical areas—amplifying the best aspects of both worlds. We pushed back on other boundaries as well. How much of a reel at this cost can we make here in the US.? Quite a lot, as it turns out. It’s a good mix, too. Liquid’s high-quality castings are imported, but the components critical to the drag system are CNC-machined in the US. Liquid reels are assembled in Boise alongside our highest-priced reels. No other price pointed reel can boast this much US content and quality oversight.
