THE ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT ROD
The Okuma Tournament Concept Overhead Slow Jig Rods are built using Okuma’s patented Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement technology. These rods, designed for Kiwi anglers by the team at Composite Developments, are manufactured using a patented process with an outer layer of longitudinal fibres around the rod blank to significantly increase strength and power in the tip section. This offers lifting power and strength up to four times conventional graphite rods.
The all new Okuma Tournament Concept Overhead 6’6 Slow Jig Rod is specifically designed with kabura style slow jigs (sliders) in mind. This rod has a softer tip for better action in the water and to provide a suitable hook set with these style of lures. But once the fish are hooked it has the patented tournament concept grunt to turn fish and get them to the boat or kayak
