Jig Star Figure 8 Solid Rings are the ideal mechanism when looking to separate your assist hook from your jig and your leader. They can be set up so that the jig and assist hook to sit in separate rings, or that the leader sits in the top ring with the assist hook and the jig fixed in the bottom ring. Either of these setups greatly reduces your chances of the mainline being impeded by the jig & assist hook.
