In 2010, the Skinnies journey began when Martha and Olly Van Arts, based in New Zealand, sought a solution to the inconveniences of traditional white sunscreen. Wanting a product that was not only better for them but also safer for their children, they birthed Skinnies. Focused on sustainability, Skinnies strives to minimize environmental impact. By eliminating water from their products, they save over 100,000 liters annually and aim to further reduce their carbon footprint by transitioning from plastic to sustainable sugar cane packaging. This eco-conscious approach extends to ingredient selection, prioritizing minimal aquatic toxicity.
